How to Use DataNumen STL Repair to Repair Corrupt STL Files
Start DataNumen STL Repair.
Note: Close any other applications that may access the source STL file.
Choose the corrupt or damaged STL file that you would like to repair:
To choose the file, input its name directly, or use the button to locate the file. You can also use the button to search for the file.
DataNumen STL Repair automatically saves the recovered data into a brand-new STL file xxxx_fixed.stl, where xxxx represents the name of the source STL file. For example, "Axle shaft_corrupt_fixed.stl" would be the fixed file name if "Axle shaft_corrupt.stl" is the name of your source file. However, you can rename the fixed file if you would like to:
You can directly enter the file name or use the button to choose the file by browsing.
Click the button. After that, DataNumen STL Repair will start repairing your source STL file using its sophisticated algorithms and show a progress bar:
Once the repair process is complete, you will see a message that looks like this if it was successful:
Click “Close” button and you can open or view the fixed STL file.
Note: The demo version will insert 3D demo texts to the fixed file. To remove this limit, you need to order the full version.
