Recover Outlook Data from Virtual Machine Disk Files, Backup Files and Disk Image Files

If your Outlook PST/OST file is stored on the following file:

  • VMWare VMDK(Virtual Machine Disk) file(*.vmdk). For example, you store your Outlook PST/OST file on a virtual disk in VMWare.

  • Nero image file(*.nrg)

and you cannot access the data in the PST/OST file for some reasons, for example:

  • You delete your Outlook PST/OST file from the virtual disk in VMWare or Virtual PC.
  • You format the virtual disk in VMWare or Virtual PC by mistake.
  • The virtual disk in VMWare or Virtual PC cannot be mounted or launched properly.
  • The virtual disk in VMWare or Virtual PC is corrupt or damaged.
  • The backup file on the backup media is corrupt or damaged and you cannot restore your PST/OST file from it.
  • The disk image file is corrupt or damaged and you cannot retrieve your PST/OST file from it.
