Using DataNumen Oracle Recovery to Recover Corrupted Oracle Databases
Start DataNumen Oracle Recovery.
Note: Before recovering any damaged or corrupt DBF files with DataNumen Oracle Recovery, please close any other applications that may modify the DBF files.
Select the damaged or corrupt DBF file to be recovered:
You can input the DBF file name directly or click the button to browse and select the file. You may also click the button to find the DBF file to be recovered on the local computer.
By default, DataNumen Oracle Recovery will save the recovered DBF file into a new file named xxxx_recovered.DBF, where xxxx is the name of the source DBF file. For example, for source DBF file USERS01.DBF, the default name for the recovered file will be USERS01_recovered.DBF. If you want to use another name, then please select or set it accordingly:
You can input the recovered file name directly or click the button to browse and select the recovered file.
Click the button, and DataNumen Oracle Recovery will start scanning and recovering the source DBF file. Progress bar
will indicate the recovery progress.
After the recovery process, if the source DBF file can be recovered successfully, you will see a message box like this:
Now you can open the recovered DBF file in Oracle.
