If your Zip/RAR archive is badly damaged, it is possible that the files inside it can only be recovered and extracted partially. In such a case, these files may still be corrupted and cannot be opened successfully. You need another tool to re-repair these files.
For example, there are a PDF file MyDoc.pdf and a Word document file MyWord.doc in your Zip archive MyFiles.zip. After using DataNumen Zip Repair to repair MyFiles.zip and extract the two files, you find they still cannot be opened. In such a case, you need to use DataNumen PDF Repair to re-repair the recovered MyDoc.pdf and use DataNumen Word Repair to re-repair the recovered MyWord.doc to get fixed files.
